Killed the snake and took it to the hospital. He's Ok. He then made a sheath for my knife (which he also made) from the skin. I am totally against snake "wranglers" because of their profiteering, no conservation, inhumane treating of reptiles; along with the pouring of gasoline into burrows to "hunt" for the snakes, which leaves the burrows uninhabitable. But this is not that. And it is pretty.
