Utterly Gutted! Phoned his previous owners daughter this morning to let her know as we have stayed in touch. Tommy's 'mummy' was 96. Her daughter informed me that her mum died i June and maybe Tommy knew.... I think he did as we had feeling that she passed away also, so if we knew he definately did. RIP Tommy xxxx R.I.P. He was 7yrs old & deaf, people have said its not a bad age for a dane..but it didnt seem very long to me.We got him from G.D.A in Lincs he was 18months old..we chose him because he was deaf & they are hard to rehome. They told me it didn't look good for the little fellow. I replied sure I will be there for around 3pm to collect. The was dumb founded at my comment but appreciated it all the same. My columbian rainbow boa, sqidge, died. He hadn't eaten since I took him in so I had to resort to assist feeding but following this he came into shed and sadley passed away. On top of this I had to have my male degus (nibbles) put to sleep last week. We have been taking him to the vets for regular dental treatments for a few months now but he developed a pneumonia which we couldn't clear. After a heartbreaking ... R.I.P. We have little common geckos running around here all the time. And it's pretty kewl this time of year, when you see all the baby lizards scurrying around. He hadn't eaten anything for over two months, was blind and dehydrated. His owners was advised to buy him as he would make an ideal first reptile, so the shop told them. They bought all the equipment and a book, as they wanted everything right. Within the first two months he started to go down hill. They took him to the vets and the vet gave them drops for his eyes, critcal care formula, electrolytes and a syringe. They tried their best with this little ... R.I.P. He’s the 1st T I’ve lost. I spent the 1st week after his death going over and over in my mind as 2 whether I had his conditions right. He was never 1 of the liveliest T’s in my collection (unless disturbed then boy could he gooooooo) Hence why my kids named him Wouldy (would he be bothered to move) When I bought him he was wild caught and mature (even tho @ the time thro inexperience I hadn’t realised as he appeared quite small) I’ve now decided ...
