This pond used to be just our fish pond but now it is shared with Map Turtles and smaller terrapins. Apart from one big terrapin called Floppy. Floppy can't walk or swim properly hence why she is in this pond. There is a tortoise weigh in in Bury, Manchester tomorrow. Not too sure of the times as ive just found out today. If you bring your tort down to Wilkinsons (the rock, bury) it will be checked, weighed etc by a member of The British Chelonian Trust and an Exotic/reptile vet from Pennine vets in tottington (Denise recommeneds and uses these vets and so do i) Just thought id pass this on as its a FREE check up. I would just like to say that she is awake as she recieved medication for a sore eye at the end of November, so I felt it best to abandon hibernation this year. She has been living alone during this time and eggs were the furthest thing from my mind.
