Brazillian Rainbow Boa Empty
PostSubject: Brazillian Rainbow Boa   Brazillian Rainbow Boa EmptySun Jan 06, 2008 4:52 pm

Hey, does anyone already own one of these already? I should be aquiring a juvenile male next week and although I have done my research on the husbandry of Brb's I'm getting conflicting info on maintainance of humidity. I have kinda figured out that the viv should be misted twice a day (I also have a water fall and dripper system available) and a wet moss hide provided alog with a large water dish.
Just how delicate are they when it comes to dehydration, some sites make out like if they are away from water for more than 10 secs they shrivel up and die!!!!!!
I always like to get an experience opinion on what is best. I don't want to go overboard and end up with scale rot!!!!!!!!
Thanks
Sarah

Thanks for that, it says pretty much what I thought was right!
I think I will follow those guidelines as they seem to agree with most of what I have read.
Thanks again
