Yes, I've heard many of those!

The caiman make pretty much the same sounds. Although the one zI didn't see there that they shoot me every once in a while is a low billowing breath right before or right after a threat snort.

A right scary!

Could you record it Bam for us to here? Maybe on a digicam recording it as a video with sound maybe and upload it????

I'm a broke ass herper who doesn't own any of those high tech digi thingys. In fact, I'm so broke my cell phone doesn't even have a camera in it. I'm so broke I can barely pay attention.

But for you, Denise, I will try and figure out some way to record some caiman calls and upload them when I do.
