Blatta lateralis (turkistan roaches) with the hope the colony grows and grows to feed my critters. Just bought these 3521 Bloody hate crawlies but needs must.

I know what you mean--I hate roaches too. But, I did end up starting a colony with 1,000, and they're doing great I have to admit. The advantages over crickets are incalculable.

Roaches are the perfect feeder insect in my opinion. I was reluctant since I find them disgusting, but heck, I don't like handling crickets either, and crickets stink, die-off, and drown too often.

I've been really happy with my dubias. They reproduce like...roaches.
