No Tilly, sorry. Ok Snakes Inc! (as if you dont know) For the the others, its a non venomous snake, reaching lengths of 2m, and AGGRESSIVE as can be , its extremely difficult to hook and taill a large wild snake like this! ALso gives birth to live young! there now I done gave the whole mystery away!

| Plus minus 130 teeth and could take a kids finger off due to the snap twist and pull motion in the bite. | |

| Snakes Inc, I found throwing a towel or blanket over the snake and then jumping on the snake and grabbing the head worked once. But even then, the strike distance of a full grown snake is about over a meter, and its scary as hell. And they are incredibly fast and agile for their size! A bite of this snake as Snakes Inc said will involve a trip to the Emergency room, and stitches! | |

| You are on the right track Tilly, however note the clues, this baby is non venomous, the Boomslang is venomous, this snake is VERY AGGRO, the Boomslang is shy and timid. This snake gives birth to live young, the Boomslang lays eggs. This snake can reach lengths of 2m, the boomslang reaches about 1.4m.
So this is not a boomslang, but you are on the right continent Tilly!!! Okay, another clue!! The name of a rather popular rodent is included in the name of this snake. This snake is probably one of the most wide spread snakes in South Africa!
