Like the story goes, it's not "if" you're gonna get bit; it's "when" you're gonna get bit. So far, we've had one caiman close call, one iguana bite and one good snake bite.

Iguana (male - 4 1/2 feet or 1.37 meters) bite:

Snake (6 foot red tail boa) hit and bite:

Caiman Bite (daisy broke her mouth band and swung her head. Terri's thumb was too close and got scraped - NBD):

Lucky escape for Terry then with the caiman.
Those iggy bites are bad mate! My hubby was bitten on the face by one that came in here, but yours is worse by far. And your the second member of the forum that i know of who's had a snake bite to the eye area. Shocked

Ouchy! that iggy bite looks bad! how many stitches?
I took a bite to the eye. Hurt like hell!
Funny that your worst bites are from far more commonly kept reptiles!

Yeah, no kidding.

Iggy - 20 stitches

Snake - felt like a punch in the face. My eye got red and puffy and a day later both eyes were black and puffy.

The caiman scratch barely brought blood!
