My sons garter snake escaped once and the night after so did a king snake. if I have 1 snake escape, I would be in big trouble, I had my corn snake escape once, I had not put the lid on the tub properly, I had to unpack the whole freaking garage!! but I found her, and the garage got a good cleaning. I make a point of setting aside snake time, so that I make sure when I do handle my snakes, I do it 1 by 1, and not all at once, cos I find the moment you do too many things at once, you can forget to close a cage, put on a lock, seal a tub properly etc etc, Ive developed a process I follow, and it has worked for me, the last thing I want is a HOT snake escaping. So I take my time and pay attention to detail. | |

| Snouties aren't bad. The really problem snakes in here are the Black Mambas and the Puff Adders. Blacks because they are getting bolder, and puffs because they are being puffs. | |

| The puffs get fed as a group by the t.v. The mambas get fed here in my "stoep" area, alternated with the boomslang. And the cobras get fed in the cupboards | |
