Crawlies for Monitor Lizards Empty
PostSubject: Crawlies for Monitor Lizards   Crawlies for Monitor Lizards EmptyTue Feb 19, 2008 3:36 am

As most of you know I have our Salvator Monitor lizard and in all fairness I have only fed him small rodents and dusted chicks as his diet so far, until tonight. The reason for this is his size and I didn't think he would be interested in lil' insects. Well folks don't fall for it! They love to chase lil' insects and eat them. I am sure they see it as a game as Slinky ( our monitor) was fed only last night and is currently having a ball chasing the 'lil crix. Remember monitors can easily become over weight in captivity, now you can have fun watching them exercising chasing their live food (insects only BTW)... think on folks. Very Happy

In a world of YouTube, you forgot the video?

Don't feel bad, I don't even own a video camera.
