We call for the penalties given to those found guilty of acts of cruelty towards animals of all kinds to be more severe.
We find it insulting that the maximum custodial sentence is 6 Months.
Those found guilty of murdering animals should face similar charges given to those who commit human murder.
The level of respect shown to animals by Gordon Browns government is pitiful and it is about time something was done to change this. | |

I definately feel that they should be given much harsher punishments. The thug who did that to my dog went on to kill another dog and seriously injure one more in a matter of months after getting out of prison for attacking my dog. It makes me sick!
