Your slings will love them but a word of warning before you place one in with your spider, roll the maggot in your hand as it stuns them otherwise you'll find a buried maggot within seconds.

Gloves work i placed maggots in with my slings in the past and within seconds missing mag and had to dig them up, i got the rolling tip from my partners friend a fisher who said rolling stuns.

What slings do you have.

If you get anymore spider you deffo want a euathlus sp yellow there so sweet my female you cant keep in always on it's way out and on your hand when feeding/cleaning. Laughing

Its funny that isn't it. Must admit don't like the wolf spiders we find in the bath lol. Them buggars rear up to bite you if you go anywhere near them! Shocked

think with me is like you said the rearing to bite but also the speed if came down to holding a house spider i would pick my trap any day.
