if I have 1 snake escape, I would be in big trouble, I had my corn snake escape once, I had not put the lid on the tub properly, I had to unpack the whole freaking garage!! but I found her, and the garage got a good cleaning.

I make a point of setting aside snake time, so that I make sure when I do handle my snakes, I do it 1 by 1, and not all at once, cos I find the moment you do too many things at once, you can forget to close a cage, put on a lock, seal a tub properly etc etc, Ive developed a process I follow, and it has worked for me, the last thing I want is a HOT snake escaping. So I take my time and pay attention to detail.

Snouties aren't bad.
The really problem snakes in here are the Black Mambas and the Puff Adders. Blacks because they are getting bolder, and puffs because they are being puffs.

The puffs get fed as a group by the t.v. The mambas get fed here in my "stoep" area, alternated with the boomslang. And the cobras get fed in the cupboards

Sounds like feeding time can get very interesting there! So you have green and Black mambas, snouteds and puffs?

Remember when Austin Stevens woke up with his trousers full of different snakes and could not move.

Is that a snake in your pans or is there more than expected?
